It hardly seems possible that we are in the last week of our Call for Entries but the end is definitely in sight now.

If you are still debating about whether or not to enter, remember that there are several prizes up for grabs:

  • The main prize is the £10,000 Valeria Sykes Award which could be won by any artwork in any media
  • The Patron’s Choice Award of £2,500
  • The Swinton Foundation Prize for an emerging artist
  • The Zillah Bell Printmaker’s Award
  • The Visitors’ Choice Award

All shortlisted artists will get their work exhibited at The Bowes Museum in County Durham and the Mercer Gallery in Harrogate, with a selection then travelling to Panter & Hall Fine Art Gallery in Pall Mall. A selection only because this is the smallest of the three galleries so, depending on the size of the work in the Exhibition, may not be able to house it all.

Sounds good? Then please ensure that you have uploaded and paid for your submission by 5pm this Friday, 31 July to go through to the judging stage.
