Following a long career in the law, Maria is now a prolific creative. Primarily known for her plein air oil paintings, in 2023, Maria began using clay to express her more whimsical side at the Ouseburn pottery studio in Newcastle.  This piece comprises a curious menagerie enjoying the thrill of a fairground carousel. A bit bonkers? Maybe. But ultimately it is simply a fun and lighthearted take on the world as seen through Maria’s eyes.
