David takes inspiration from nature to create his artwork in response to a deep understanding and empathy with the natural world. Roe deer are a secretive but common site around his home in Cumbria and close study in the wild is not easy.
This strong and elegant Buck lives in a small copse of woodland less than a mile from his village in the ruggardly beautiful Pennine Hills.
