She Dreams a Little

I was born in Yorkshire and following a foundation year at Jacob Kramer College in Leeds I gained a Fine Art Degree at Stourbridge College of Art in 1981. I went on to train as a teacher in 1987, eventually becoming Head of Art and Design Technology at Moorlands independent school in Leeds. I am married with 3 grown up children. I have been painting on a part time basis since 2005, showing work in local galleries in Leeds. In 2014 I was given my first two man show at the Walker Gallery in Harrogate and continued to show regularly every two years. I finally gave up my teaching post to paint full time in 2017 and my most recent one man show was in 2022.
