Heather’s work explores stories that are embedded within landscapes and her personal experiences. She is interested in how familiar and overlooked places can be understood by using varied printmaking techniques, often overlaying etchings and collographs. Traces of her personal memories are set in broader social and historical contexts. Heather is fascinated by the stories that exist within familiar, overlooked places . The passing of time, recollections and storytelling are recurring themes in her work.

This print is part of a varied edition. Each print is made using six hand inked plates and the intensities of colours will vary slightly, but the atmosphere and effect will be consistent.
