Vic Harris says: ‘I am a retired psychiatrist, based in East Cheshire, UK. I paint mainly portraits in oil. Since starting painting in 2010 I have exhibited in London and elsewhere in 8 national art competitions.
My aim in painting a portrait is to capture something in the sitter’s face that may be fleeting but revelatory’.
Vic won the New Light Patron’s Choice Award in 2020
