Danny says:

‘I am a sculptor working primarily in stone and based in Witherslack, Cumbria.
I trained at Canterbury college of art and Wimbledon school of art and have worked as an assistant to sculptors Glynn Williams and Stephen Cox. I now work, carving a variety of stones including marble granite, limestone and slate inspired by natural forms for exhibition and public and private commissions.

Bardiglio head is carved from a block of Bardiglio marble which when polished takes on the colour of a cloudy sky. I wanted to evoke the idea of a spirit of the sky in this sculpture’
