Mark Demsteader was born in Manchester, where he still lives and works.
In a long and varied career, Mark’s drawings have won several awards including The Lyceum Prize and the Sidney Andrews Scholarship. In recent years, Mark’s reputation has flourished, such that he has become one of the most popular contemporary figurative artists working in Britain today, selling out at every exhibition he holds in London. His models have included the actress Emma Watson, model Erin O’Connor and the ballet dancer Marianela Nunez.
