Tom Wood was born in 1955 and is without doubt one of the UK’s leading living artists.
Since graduating from Sheffield School of Art in 1978, he has held numerous exhibitions at home and abroad and his work can be found in many public and private collections. His celebrated portraits include Professor Lord Robert Winston and Alan Bennett, both of which were commissioned by the National Portrait Gallery in London.
